Watering Tips for New Plants
Due to the dense clay soil of Northern Virginia, proper watering is paramount to a new plant’s success in the first two years. There is not a 100% accurate plan for watering new plants in our region. We recommend checking the soil moisture level before watering to distinguish whether or not the new plant needs water.
