WE HAVE STINK BUG TRAPS

STINK BUGS ARE AN EXTREMLY AGGRESSIVE, DISTRUCTIVE BUG.

Their family name of ‘Pentatomidae’ comes from the Greek words; ‘pente’ which means 5, and ‘tomos’ which means section. This pest multiplies quickly and damages our plant crops by way of sucking the juice from the plant, which in turn kills the plant. The stink bug is resistant to and unaffected by many pesticides.

An interesting fact about stink bugs? In Laos, they are often used in preparation of a dish called ‘cheo’. The bug is pounded together with spices and seasonings to create this paste that is then mixed with chilies and herbs. They are revered as being extremely delicious due to their extremely strong odor. Recipe to come???

Do you have brown spots in your yard?

You MAY have FUNGUS!!!

Stop in with a sample patch or photograph of your lawn. We can both diagnose and help fix it before you lose more!

WATER WATER WATER!!!!

The best advice we can give and you can follow during the summer months is:

"DO NOT forget to water!!" (and we mean it!)

Plants ranging from newly planted (this includes last year's installations) to well established garden favorites (that 20 year old cherry gracing your home with gorgeous blooms every spring) will require anything from the occasional drink to the weekly scheduled watering's.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASAE, If your plants are not doing well

and you don't know why BRING A PIECE IN!!!

We can help you figure out what is going wrong. Just like the doctor we NEED to see the issue, diagnosing over the phone is very hard and often times impossible.

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Grab a sealed plastic bag from the kitchen, or old jar with a lid.
  2. Throw a piece of the problem plant or bug in the bag or jar and bring it to us!

***Just a quick tip:***

Try not to leave it in the hot car before bringing it to us; this can cause diagnosing to be extremely difficult for us.
